Max will be carrying the English Commentary whereas SAB will be carrying the Hindi Commentary for the same match. However on days a different match is shown on Max, SAB and PIX we are unable to confirm whether Dialog TV will carry feeds of all the matches.

The matches are expected to commence at 7pm or 8pm Sri Lanka time. We welcome updates from our bloggers regarding the match commencement time as well as the scenario on a day that different matches are telecast over the Sony Channels.

I think the SETMAX is not available for the Rs.500/- package but they will be given a option to pay for the duration of the tournment.

Will they be showing the opening ceremony at 4.30am on the 12th.?

I hope the freezing problem wont prevail in the SONY Max like the SET channel.

Thanx

In the EPG the genre and the Synopsis doesnt match with the Name.

Will they give EPG for AXN as well?

After we switch to one channel it takes like 2 minutes for the EPG to come. Any clue about it? or is it how it is?

Someone please comment...

Cute guy

You are correct
Yesterday there was a movie in Cinemax called Man-Thing
I know its a Horror Film

But it shows as Comedy film. I was surprised.

DTV people,
at least check the details in HOB/Cinemax web before putting wrong delais on EPG. In the web it clearly said MAN-THING is a Horror movie, but for the Dialog it is a Comedy. Like Future today but this month's programe guide will deliver in next month.
Kianne ekak, Koranne Thwa Ekak!!!
Ha hahaha

Future Today must be the latest version of Balagiri.

Where is Kaluperuma these days? He was telling about a printed programem guide. When we will get it? Next Month?

Anyway it looks like most of the old guys have left this blog and new ones are playing a good role.

Subscribers Unite should note that there is some sort of apathy growing in the DTV subscribers (at least bloggers) mind that DTV is not being professional as should be.
It has been nearly 4 months since they took-over and yet the service levels are low compared that to say LBN or even Dish TV.
In the same breath is should be said that content is still very much acceptable and quality is decent.
H/e, we expect more from a big operator like Dialog and not even having the latest program guide uploaded at their site (let alone the EPG) is simply not acceptable.

I hv a feeling that some of the earlier bloggers are stying out of the blog as the simple requirements simply does not seem to be catered for and/or they hv other connections from other operators as well.

Somebody better alert Dialog team that marketing alone would not suffice and their lack of professionalism is showing elsewhere - even though the basic DTH beam is satisfactory.

VISHKID - I agree with you and i think the problem is the new management has let people who doesnt know damn about DTH has been entrusted to run DTV(The interview with Mr.Anthony gives ample evidance in this regard). Its time DR.Hans and Nushad put someone who knows the subject to run the operations of DTV.

When the Sales Manager of the company is arrogant doesnt know a shit about what he is doing or about his competitors, you are loosing ground and will end up loosers.

Its time DTV try to match the channel selection and quality of DISH TV than trying to legaly handle them.

AND DONT BOTHER OF TRYING TO STOP THIS DISHTV GUYS FROM SEELING THE CONNECTION,BECAUSE UNLESS YOU PUT YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER AND GET THINGS MOVING,PEOPLE WILL FIND A WAY TO BUY THIS CONNECTIONS HOW MUCH DTV TRIES TO STOP THEM.

DTV -YOUR TIME IS RUNNING OUT AND STARTING TO BE UNPOPULAR DAY BY DAY,ITS UPTO YOU TO DECIDE WHERE YOU WANT TO END UP.
