"Ten Sports" to be interrupted to satisfy Malaysian ego?

According to scroll running on the "Ten Sports" channel which is has been placed by Dialog, it was says that the channel will be telecasting the Axiata Cup on April 14th & 15th from 10:30am onwards. According to sources the "Axiata Cup" will not be telecast on Ten Sports, it will most likely be on "Ten Action". According to unconfirmed information Dialog will take "Ten Sports" off air to satisfy their parent company Axiata's ego & telecast "Ten Action" instead only for that period of time.

Subscribers have repeatedly requested for "Ten Action" but it has fallen on deaf ears, capacity is being wasted on endless non functional test channels. However since the parent company's badminton tournament is underway, the "Ten Action" channel may replace "Ten Sports" just for Malaysian ego satisfaction.

If Dialog replaces "Ten Sports" with "Ten Action" just for the Axiata Badminton finals, it will be a move that clearly indicates that Dialog is bent on satisfying their parent company more than on satisfying their subscribers who actually generate revenue for the Malaysian Axiata Group. If that is so, it may just turn out to be an inauspicious New Year for Dialog Axiata.

Dialog should stop the endless testing of one of their "TEST" channels and add "Ten Action" permanently instead.

Please keep us updated on the latest on Dialog TV as the days progress.

Well I don't know about Malaysian ego, because this tournament is being broadcast in Malaysia by Axiata's arch rival Maxis via the "astro" satellite network. Where as Telekom Malaysia's "hypp.tv" iptv service has no mention of it.... Astro is also one of the official media partners.

Looks like our folks at dialog have got their wires crossed once again. Also, there is no mention of this tournament on the Ten Action website.

Wish everyone a Happy Sinhala and Tamil New Year!

dear nokia...
plz let me know how can i purchase Dish tv connection in colombo area, i left from dialog tv

@ Jagath,

I think you can purchese it from pettah. You can see some shops showing Dish TV logo and Avalable Here sign.

But I dont recomend Dish TV as there is no one to take the warranty... If something goes wrong you will be in Trouble. Go for Dialog, Peo or LBN as there is a person to contact during a need.

I have an issue to clarify and really appreciate if someone could let this info.

By saying 'First Digital TV' does this Hiru TV is transmitting through digital signals to the viewer?
Since, I got a DVB-T tuner and scanned the channel but it didn't tuned to the channel.

Does this channel can be viewed through DVB-T tuner or its just as plain as analog TV tuner only?

Please advise
