Bloomberg TV on test

Dialog is presently testing international business channel Bloomberg Television on their platform. According to information being received it seems that the channel will be available on their new Rs 1949/= premium package and not to the older Rs 1400/= premium package subscribers.

If this is true then it will mean that this is a tactic adopted by Dialog to strip their Rs 1400/= older premium subscribers of the premium status and force them to come to Rs 1949/= package in order to view the new channels. This will definitely cause dissatisfaction among their subscribers causing them to move to PEO TV/LBN since competition has now arrived on the pay television market.

A tactic of this nature will affect Dialog's ability to attract new subscribers too, we hope that Dialog TV reverses its decision with immediate effect and makes this channel available for the older premium subscribers too.

Please keep us updated on the latest developments regarding Dialog TV as the days progress.

Looks like Dialog tv is going to pull a nice trick on the 1400/= old premier members.

Ohhoo! I am old 1400 customer.its for a short time ! once i get SLT connection i am no more with DTV!

Will there be a big difference between PEO and DTV?

PEO charge 1500 without Star & other popular channels (NGC, Discovery, sports channels).

Moved to a new house recently.

Wanna get a connection, was waiting for PEO, but cost seems to same as DTV, but my biggest problems is that i need a SLT land line to hav IPTV, which will cost an additional 8,000/-! So IPTV is out for me.

Next option is LBN ? Any Suggestions guys ?

No Any suggestions... Only suggesition is move to PEO TV or another cabale TV operator. Local or India.. and send a massage to all DTV users to remove theire connection from DTV and get PEO any other cabale TV connection. Start this work today..... DTV will be changed thier business tactic.

I think LBN is better if you are in a coverage area otherwise the cheapest option is Indian one. But No quality movie channels lots of Indian stuff.

Better to wait and see for sometime.

BLOOMBERG IS A CHANNELL WHICH MOST OF THE PEOPLE WILL NOT WANT TO HAVE UNLESS THEY ARE REALLY BUSINESS MINDED.

WHO IS THE NUT WHO WANTS TO WATCH ALL ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS HASSELLS AROUND THE WORLD, AFTER SPENDING THE DAY AT THE OFFICE HANDLIG BUSINESS MATTERS.

SO IF DTV WANTS TO GIVE BLOOMBERG TO 1949/- CUSTOMERS WHO CARES.
MAY BE A MAN WHO IS REALLY INTERESTED IN WORLD ECONOMY AND WHO LIKES LIVE WITH BUSINESS AT HOME, MAY LIKE THIS CHANNELL.

@kumara

the problem is, if DTV gives shit channel Bloomberg only to their premium customers, no need to wonder that other package holders wont get any new channels...

@amd
transfer your DTV connection for the moment. and if you stay in new place for permanent or long duration get PEO TV. they should come with a better line up i suppose.

I hope all the new channels will come to the 1949 package. DTV again playing dirty on the subscribers ! Soon they will start tasting the bitterness of it.

LBN quality is superb now with digital and its the best for the people reside in their coverage area.

Other option is the dish tv india available at pettah for Rs. 17,000/= inclusive of 1 years rental !!!!
