I don't think Sirasa is going to come here. if DTV is adding Siarsa the space/ time is more than enough. why the hell DTV still running REVISION TV.. now O/L is over,, and then Why DTV is wasting one (DTV testing..)CH space for last two years.. Something is happening the behind the Screen i guess other chs like ITN, Swarnavahini and Rupavahini probably trying their best to prevent Sirasa coming in to board. (this is my personnel view) Now both PEO and LBN have added the Sirasa in their CH lineup...
IMHO Comedy central is way better than the new channel they are showing. Also, is it just me or does it have a audio sync problme?
Start Movies India is showing the same shit movies for weeks. I have been coming home in the weekends and whenever I turn the channel on it's the movie "Commando" showing. Seriously fuck that.
Dear All, Still Sirasa doesn't have Satellite rights. They only have cable TV right. So I dont think Sirasa will come DTV this January. And Sirasa is not important channel in Sri lanka...Dtv have enough local channel. Please add more international channel.
@Priyantha.. YOU r not correct.. why d hell SIRASA wants to have any rights to get in to DTV platform.... Do TNL/ITN/Rup/Swar/Hiru have any satellite rights (or cable Tv rights).. PLS do not make false comments and mislead others.. if you do not like Sirasa that is fine. but pls do not mislead or discourage others. Getting Sirasa in to DTV platform is a deal between DTV and Sirasa.
btw i just called Customer care hotline.. they suck... useless.. do not know anything..it is not helpline..but HELPLESS line
@vishwa-i agree with u vishwa, I called to sirasa tv engneering devition,& they said they alrady gv permitions to DTV few months ago,but problm in DTV side,problm is transpnder spaces not enough include 3 channels,DTV hurryup we need sirasa sooon
@Rupavahini.. i do not know from where you get a confirmation that Sirasa is coming on board on Jan, cos yday I spoke to DTV CC HL and they confirmed still there is no finalization on the above deal and as per CC guy who spoke to me, Still Sirasa haven't give its clearance on DTV to get Sirasa on board. so DTV is unable to confirm when Sirasa is going to come.. soo bad

As far as I know Call Centre staff are not getting any inside info. And I heard that the Dialog Call Centre is outsourced. So they hardly get informations untill something officially out. So do not relay on them.
I too could not get any info on dates but they are coming to DTV. No sooner I could find out the details I'll keep you all posted.
