According to reports being received we can confirm that all the missing Zee channels such as Zee Cafe, Studio & Trendz are back on air as of 10pm last night.
Initially earlier during the day the Nat Geo channels went off air but all channels were back on line by 10pm.

ZEE Channels on LBN are also back from 10 last night. Maybe be something to do with the transmission of the channels themselves ?
just after 9.00 PM yesterday (18/08/09) Stat sports, Star Cricket and ESPN were out of order and the down-link error screen was shown.....
are these the early symptoms of a gradual death ?....
I don't think so. I think they are maintaining dishes @ DTV end

They havent updated their site after Feb 2008
Still they have the Feb 2008 Schedule.

Australian Network and Set max is off line at the moment and it is with colour bars. Hope it is not some thing to do with payments.

guys,I have a digital DVB satellite decorder.Can watch FTA as well as by inserting smartcard any pay tv nertwork(i think) what i want to know is if i fix dialog cable into this decordr will i be able to watch any FTA channels by using the dialog dish and the new decorder I have???
Earlier CNBC Islamabad was there. But I don't know now it's visible. If you can buy another Ku dish and point it to Insat 4B 93.5E, you can watch DD FTA channels.

Yes you can watch the FTA channels but there is only 2 channels The Buddist and the DTV demo channels. All other channels will be encrypted. What is the reciver you have??

I hv a HIVION HV-9090x.SO i cant get any other FTA channel via dialog dish??Can I get a tatasky? or dish tv smarter card and watch dish or tatasky?

No I think you can't. What is the point of buying a card with a tatasky or dish tv reciver and watching in another reciver. If you turn you dish to another sat you can watch the FTA channels on that sat. What are you upto?? Send me your e-mail address.

Cabinet of Government of Sri Lanka had approved a paper drawn by Minister Anura priyadarshana Yapa (Minister of Mass Media) yesterday.

This paper suggest to transfer the analogue tranmission to Digital on Sri Lankan Television broadcasts.

Effective date of this transform was not concluded as to the report itself.

LBN has activated AXN Beyond and
SET Asia English
During the time that DTV was adding channels, one blogger said that AXN beyond and SET Asia, were not in our region and so DTV cant add it ?
Then how did LBN do so ?
2day(1/09/2009) i saw a cargils (srilankan)ad in discovery channel @ 1.30 pm ....
so it luks like dialog tv is earning a gud revenue... nice wrk!
