Over the last few weeks there have been frequent interruptions on the Australia Network channel. This has resulted in several Dialog TV subscribers missing out on some rugby action and some entertaining programming. Most of us were under the impression that this will get sorted out once Dialog TV completes maintenance. But the problem still continued and this is only unique to Dialog TV and the other pay television operators such as LBN do not have any problem with Australia Network.
According to emails received by us from subscribers, it seems that when they inquire from Dialog TV about the nature of the problem and when it will be sorted, the reply from Dialog TV Customer Care (not the best in the world) is that they are having reception problems with Australia Network at their location and if this does not get sorted out then they will replace the channel. So whenever Dialog TV enginners cannot sort out technical problems with a channel, do they advice to replace the channel or is this the imagination of the Customer Care Agent? The inability to sort out a technical problem reflects badly on the engineering team and if they cannot sort out problems then the personnel should be replaced, hopefully Dr. Hans & the management at Telekom Malaysia take steps to get rid of all these incapable people either in Customer Care or Engineering.
Australia Network is the only channel that carries a majority of Rugby matches and some people have bought Dialog TV connections because they can watch some Rugby, if Dialog removes this channel then this will result in these people being deprived and will reflect badly on Dialog Telekom as a whole. Australia Network telecasts Tri Nations & Super 14's which is not available on any other channel in this region.
We hope steps are taken along with expertise from Australia Network so that the problem is rectified as soon as possible since the problem has been existing for so long that a solution is overdue. Let us remind Dialog TV once again that the solution is not removing the channel.

If the channel is not on - then Dialog Tv should give us a refund or a choice of another channel !!!!!!! This is Customer service !

WHY TO TAKE ONLY AUSTRALIN NET WORK. IF YOU CANNOT IMPROVE QUALITY OF ALL THE CHANNELLS, WHY NOT DISCONTINUE EVERYTHIMG AND CLOSE DTV AND GIVE OUR MONEY BACK.
CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT BE HELD AT RANSOM FOR INADEQUACIES AND INEFFICIENCIES OF MIS-MANAGEMENT OF DTV BUFFOONS

A couple of days ago I was fiddling with the settings in my Mobile (A Nokia 6110 Navigator) and did a Manual Network search on UMTS mode (3G). the phone detected Dialog, Mobitewl and a third network SRI 05. I suppose that would be airtel testing their netwok and can we assume they will be assigned code No. 075? as Mobitel is Sri 01 (code=071), Celtel(Tigo) is Sri 02 (code=072) etc etc.
can some one update. has anyone else detected this?

I have informed DTV on 31st of March that I do not need CitiHitz, Then the CC fool said I have to inform then after April 1st. When I informed on 1st of April another CC fool said, as they are working on it request me to contact them again.
3rd of April I have informed again. At that time CC gave me a reference no and said, they will do the changes & if i receive a bill with additional charges produce tge ref no to Waive off .
yesterday (21st may) I received a bill with aditional charges for CitihitZ. When I contacted DTV CC , they said , I DO NOT HAVE ANY CHOICE. I HAVE TO PAY APRIL BILL AS I HAVE MADE MY REQUEST ON 3RD OF APRIL. And given another Reference no.

Paying additional 50 is not a big problem. But the way DTV idiots are following is crazy. FUCK OFF DTV. (Sorry to say wrong words. But Only these words can address DTV)

Dialog TV subsidiary expanded aggressively in to the Pay Television market reaching a subscriber base of 77,506, a growth of 300 percent over the previous year.
On/off switch (red button of my of my remote controller sometimes works and some times does not work. Is it due
to a fault of the remote itself or the decoder. Thada wenawa ehata mehata yanda giyama.
By the way can any one remember the boss of old CBN sat ? , founder of this marvelous satalite station.

once i had some probs with the remote. i called dtv and they said a new remote will cost rs. 1500/=
so i repaired it my self. if you are comfortable, try to remove the cover and wipe the circuit board with a dry piece of clothing. there could be spilled water,milk (or alcohol) or dust on the circuit board which is preventing buttons to function.
*use a dry cloth to wipe
