"Ten Sports" to be interrupted to satisfy Malaysian ego?

According to scroll running on the "Ten Sports" channel which is has been placed by Dialog, it was says that the channel will be telecasting the Axiata Cup on April 14th & 15th from 10:30am onwards. According to sources the "Axiata Cup" will not be telecast on Ten Sports, it will most likely be on "Ten Action". According to unconfirmed information Dialog will take "Ten Sports" off air to satisfy their parent company Axiata's ego & telecast "Ten Action" instead only for that period of time.

Subscribers have repeatedly requested for "Ten Action" but it has fallen on deaf ears, capacity is being wasted on endless non functional test channels. However since the parent company's badminton tournament is underway, the "Ten Action" channel may replace "Ten Sports" just for Malaysian ego satisfaction.

If Dialog replaces "Ten Sports" with "Ten Action" just for the Axiata Badminton finals, it will be a move that clearly indicates that Dialog is bent on satisfying their parent company more than on satisfying their subscribers who actually generate revenue for the Malaysian Axiata Group. If that is so, it may just turn out to be an inauspicious New Year for Dialog Axiata.

Dialog should stop the endless testing of one of their "TEST" channels and add "Ten Action" permanently instead.

Channel capacity mismanaged

A few days ago Dialog TV replaced ETV with a test channel while having two more channels on test. One test channel has been allocated to the soon to be launched TV station by ABC Network, the other which was previously occupied by Aarti TV has been replaced by "Dialog Test Channel" & the slot occupied by ETV is to be taken by another local channel which hasn't been named as yet. It's quite surprising that while Dialog eternally tests while their local competitor PEO TV have already launched Ten Action which was a channel that many Dialog TV subscribers have been requesting now for several months.

Despite all of those requests Dialog are having three test channels, two of which have more or less been assigned for supposedly soon to be launched local channels and one that hasn't been assigned as yet. Rightfully Dialog should be launching a Hindu channel on the channel slot vacated by Aarti TV but it has not happened.

Instead of replacing ETV with another local channel Dialog should have at least put Ten Action. Dialog should increase capacity immediately since the recently launched sports channel  "Sony Six" is on acquiring sporting properties and will be the only sole broadcaster of IPL from next year, Discovery has launched "Discovery Kids" and with numerous requests for "Ten Action" its clear that existing capacity is insufficient and even existing capacity is being mismanaged.
