Dialog takes requests into consideration regarding Ten Sports feed

Dialog TV which moved from Ten Sports India to Ten Sports Middle East took subscriber requests into consideration and decided to move Ten Sports back to the Indian feed after every cricket match. The reason the feed was moved to the Middle East feed was due to the fact that there are less interruptions in the Middle East feed compared to the Indian feed during the cricket. However this change would have meant that viewers missed out on WWE action as well as football. But all this has now been rectified with Dialog moving to the Middle East feed only during the cricket.

It is a good move taken by Dialog TV and hopefully we will see decisions taken giving due consideration to subscriber request.

Ten Sports feed shifted

Dialog TV have shifted the feed of Ten Sports to the Middle Eastern feed due to the present Zim vs SL cricket tour. This is a dumb move since the Indian feed also carries the cricket. Due to this feed change Ten Sports fans will miss out on WWE action & UEFA action and also other sporting events carried by Ten Sports.

The least Dialog can do is to revert to the Indian feed once the match is over but it looks like subscribers will be stuck with the ME feed until the end of the tour. If switching back and forth cannot be done then please keep the Indian feed since the cricket is available on the Indian feed too. Over to you Dialog since you need to your subscribers happy but Dialog TV seems to be in the habit of making them happy and then making them upset again. This is not the way a corporate like Dialog Telekom should behave specially with the financial losses that have been made.

Cartoon Network, Nick feeds changed

It seems that Dialog TV has changed the feeds for Cartoon Network and Nick with effect from yesterday. Until yesterday Dialog TV have been relaying Nick India and Cartoon Network India the only difference being that Cartoon Network Asia was available for a few weeks several months ago and then Cartoon Network India was reintroduced. However on Dialog Mobiles Cartoon Network Asia has been available for the past several years. In a move that would bring smiles to faces of many children and parents alike Dialog TV is now relaying Cartoon Network Asia and we believe that the Nick feed is that of Nick Pakistan which is available via Ary Digital Network.

Cartoon Network Asia is 100% English but most programmes on Nick Pakistan is available in English with some programmes being available in Hindi. However this version of Nick is much better since Nick India was almost 100% Hindi. According to unconfirmed information Pogo is also said to be in English but we are unable to confirm this since Pogo has some non dual language which means that Pogo will continue to carry full Hindi as well as some English programming. There is nothing much Dialog TV can do about Pogo since this channel does not have any other feed and is available only in the subcontinent. The best Dialog TV can do is to introduce the Asian feeds of the Disney channels.

We hope that this change on Dialog TV is permanent and viewers will welcome this change which is long overdue on Dialog TV.

New SET Plans required

Looks like it is confirmed Dialog TV have introduced UTV and UTV World Movies only to the Rs 1940/= package only. So the next step that Dialog TV should take is to introduce new SET Plans for these new channels so that lower level package users such as the old Rs 1400/= premium package users can watch these channels. The SET plans should be reasonably priced.
